City-based Chinese community extends Tet greetings to provincial leaders on occasion of Thien Hau Lady temple festival 2019

Early February 18, TDM city-based Chinese community held a delegation to visit and extend Tet greetings to provincial leaders on the occasion of the Thien Hau Lady temple festival 2019. Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Vice-Chairpersons of provincial People’s Committee, People’s Council together with representatives of sectors, departments in the province.

Representative of the city-based Chinese community sent Tet greetings to provincial leaders while saying that there are 1,459 Chinese households with nearly 11,700 people in the city. Over the past years, the local Chinese community well realized the Party’s policies and the State’s laws; actively got involved in programs and movements launched by the local government and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels…

On behalf of provincial leaders, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee acknowledged contributions by the Chinese community to the local development. He also wanted that the Chinese community will further tighten the great national unity bloc, respond to patriotic emulation movements launched by the local authorities and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels while keeping and upholding the fine values of national culture, morality and tradition.
