Connect, complement, develop together

Update: 14-04-2023 | 14:25:30

In just a short time, leaders of the provinces and cities in the Southeast region have met, discussed together many times, and contributed valuable ideas to find solutions to link, solve difficulties, develop together. That spirit is also to implement the Politburo’s Resolution No. 24 seriously and effectively on socio-economic development, defense and security assurance in the Southeast region.

The latest, on the afternoon of April 12, was the working session of the Prime Minister's Special Working Group led by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang with the participation of leaders of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh provinces, Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. At this meeting, the leaders of the provinces raised difficulties and obstacles in many fields, from land procedures, compensation for site clearance, development investment, industrial land fund... All beyond the capacity and competence of the locality, urgently need the drastic and timely intervention of the ministries, branches, the Government and relevant competent agencies.

Previously, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau also attended the conference in Binh Phuoc to discuss investment, cooperation and cooperation issues, contribute solutions to remove "bottlenecks" in order to accelerate the development process of the whole region in a sustainable way. Development linkage is not only a matter of connecting transport infrastructure but covering many fields, including investment, trade - services, tourism, agriculture and cultural and social fields.

The Southeast is a dynamic and developing economic region, making a very important contribution to the overall development of the country. In fact, for many years, with the efforts of localities in the region, the connection has been and is taking place. However, there are still many "bottlenecks" that need to be removed, a stronger unity is needed, a longer vision is needed to promote the potential and advantages, stimulate the strong, sustainable development of localities, to be an economic locomotive of the country.

The development mindset is no longer confined to the local area, that mindset will pave the way for connecting transport, investment, industry, agriculture, trade and service... more and more closely and complementary, reciprocating each other’s strengths and weaknesses towards a common sustainable development goal of the whole region and the country at large.
