Continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and build urban cultural and civilized life at the grassroots level

On November 5, Tan Thang quarter of Tan Binh ward, Di An city held a Great National Solidarity Festival. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; and Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, attended the ceremony.

Tan Thang neighborhood currently has 1,693/1,707 households achieving the title of cultural family, reaching a rate of 99.1%; 25/25 lodging houses achieved cultural titles; The neighborhood mobilized people to socialize 3 asphalt roads with a length of about 1.5km, with a cost of about 4 billion VND; installed a lighting system; established and launched a surveillance system, established 4 fire prevention and fighting groups with an amount of over 100 million VND...

Speaking at the festival, Minh appreciated the results of the neighborhood in recent times. He also asked localities to continue promoting the spirit of national solidarity in economic, cultural, and social development, ensuring local defense and security; effectively implementing patriotic campaigns and emulation movements; effectively promoting self-management groups in residential areas, contributing to building a safe, secure and beautiful locality...

On this occasion, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded a "Great Solidarity" house to Tran Thi A Van's household (Tan Phu 2 neighborhood, Tan Binh ward). The province and Di An City presented 24 gifts to poor households and families living in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1 million VND in cash; The neighborhood gave 6 gifts; The Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 31 households that achieved the title of cultural family for 3 consecutive years (2021-2023).

In 2023, Quarter 8 have 422/425 families achieving the title of cultural family, reaching 99.3%; 425/425 families achieving 100% learning... Speaking at the festival, Ba wished that the people of Quarter 8 always preserve and uphold national cultural identity, join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; promote the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love" to help each other; continue to effectively deploy campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, implement the project "Mass mobilization work to participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in Binh Duong province in the period of 2021-2025” …

l On the same morning, the Campaign Committee of Binh Thuan 1 Quarter, Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City also organized the Great National Solidarity Festival. The event was attended by Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and leaders of provincial departments and branches, leaders of Thuan An city and Thuan Giao ward. The festival attracted more than 100 people representing households in the area.

At the festival, the signing of emulation movements in 2024 was held; announced the decision to recognize the titles of cultural families in 2023, announced and rewarded families that meet the criteria of cultural families, and announced the decision of neighborhood winning the title of typical cultural neighborhood in 2023. On this occasion, more than 40 disadvantaged households were given cash gifts by Provincial People's Committee, Thuan An City People's Committee, and Thuan Giao Ward People's Committee, each worth from 500,000 - 1 million VND.
