On December 25, Binh Duong Water Supply, Drainage and Environment One-Member Co.Ltd. (Biwase) signed a contract with Kobelco Eco-Solutions Vietnam Co.Ltd. under Japan’s Kobelco Group to build the Thuan An-based waste water treatment plant.
The contract is worth VND450bln, 90% of which comes from the Japan International Cooperation Agency’s official development assistance (ODA) and the remainder from corresponding capital. The Thuan An-based waste water treatment plant has a designed capacity of 17,000 cubic meters a day and belongs to the third phase of the South Binh Duong Water Environment Improvement Project. It is expected to be built in early 2015 with construction time of 26 months.
At the contract signing ceremony, the two sides pledged to try their best so that the project could reach the highest results, contributing to creating a green-clean and beautiful environment for the sake of the local people’s health and socio-economic development.
