That was the result of the 2015 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) assessment announced by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and United States Agency for International Development (US-Aid) on Mar 31. Accordingly, Da Nang continues to take the lead in 3 consecutive years; Binh Duong gains 58.89 points, is ranked 25th nationwide. Especially, in Southeastern region, Binh Duong is ranked 4th after Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
This year, most sub-indexes of Binh Duong province, such as: market penetration, land access, transparency, fair competition, dynamism and legal institutions, etc. increased over the previous year.
The 2015 PCI was the result independently assessed by more than 10,000 domestic enterprises and 1,600 foreign invested enterprises across the country for the quality of economic management in 63 provinces and cities across the country. Foreign investors said that Vietnam is a safe investment environment.
