Dau Tieng makes efforts in illiteracy elimination, universal education and learning-based society building

On the afternoon of February 27, Dau Tieng district’s Steering Board of Illiteracy Elimination, Universal Education and Learning-based Society Building forwarded a conference to review its activities in 2018.

In 2018, the district’s Study Promotion Societies at all levels mobilized organizations, individuals to award scholarships worth more than VND1.6billion to poor-but-excellent pupils. The district’s study promotion fund has so far amounted to more than VND170million.  Last year, the rate of the local pupils with primary, secondary and high school graduation reached 99.47%, more than 97.9% and 99.52%, respectively.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were honored for their excellent achievements in the local illiteracy elimination, universal education and learning-based society building last year.
