Launching Vietnam Health Program

On the 64th anniversary of Vietnam Doctor's Day, on February 27, under the leadership of the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism Schedules and relevant ministries and branches organize online conferences to launch the Vietnam Health Program. At Binh Duong Bridge, Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference, with the participation of relevant departments and agencies.
The Vietnam Health Program was approved by the Prime Minister on September 2, 2016 to enhance the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation. The program sets out tasks and solutions to focus on implementing 28 targets of 11 health areas.
Speaking to launch the program, the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed that health is the precious capital of every person and the whole society. In recent years, the Party and the State have paid great attention to the care and protection of people's health. Wanting to maintain health, develop stature, it is necessary to simultaneously perform all 3 requirements, which are: Hygiene and disease prevention, eating and drinking to ensure nutrition and physical training. Protection and improvement of health must be the duty of every citizen and political system. The Prime Minister urged people to start implementing, maintaining behaviors, healthy lifestyles, self-protecting health care for themselves and the community. Localities need to incorporate the Vietnam Health promotion program into local socio-economic development and action programs.
