Dau Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross spends over VND3bil for social work

On Feb. 4, Dau Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross held a summing up conference on its operation 2014. In the past year, Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross excelled social work with the total value of over VND3bil. Through programs of Tet for the poor and dioxin victims, granting charity houses for the poor and more, Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross helped more than 3,600 poor cases.

In addition, Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross paid attention to healthcare for the community by free offering health check-ups and medicines for the poor with the total value of nearly VND1.5bil.

In the year, Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross mobilized 1,400 cadres and members to donate blood with 1,115 units of blood.

At the conference, Tieng Rubber Company’s red cross granted 2 insignias for humanitarian cause, 8 merit certificates of central Red Cross to collectives and individuals for their contributions to red cross work 2014.
