Delegations of people’s councils met voters

Yesterday of November 2, delegations of Provincial and Thu Dau Mot People’s Councils have met voters in Phu Hoa, Phu Cuong, and Phu Tho in preparing for the 18th session of Provincial People’s Council. At the meeting, delegations of the two-level councils have reported results of socio-economic and national defense and security resolution within 9 months of 2010. Voters proposed their suggestions and were informed with agenda of the 18th session of Provincial People’s Council and the 17th session of Thu Dau Mot People’s Council.

 In Phu Hoa ward, voters suggested that investors should promote to complete the project process within 2010. Voters have noted that Nguyen Thi Minh Khai road project has been sluggish for many years because site clearance and compensation have failed.

 Voters in Phu Cuong cared more about environment issues to protect public health as well as policies to poor people and jobs for workers from rural areas.

 Voters in Phu Tho ward demanded for clear-cut answers involving resettlement brought about by Phu Thinh high-end building project. They also informed that general power measuring has not been removed although power grid has been complete for almost 6 months. Meantime, voters in Phu Tho ward claimed that leaders should make examples to maximize results of the movements “studying and following Ho Chi Minh moral examples”.

In the same morning, Mrs. Luu Kim Loan – a delegation of Provincial People’s Council, together with delegations of Dau Tieng People’s Council met over 70 voters in Long Hoa village.

Province’s and Thuan An district’s delegations have also met voters in Binh Hoa village.

After listening to votes, delegations have made explanation and taken into consideration of their ideas and suggestion.
