Department of Natural Resources and Environment to strictly manage concessional loans

In 2019, implementing financial support for organizations and individuals to borrow preferential investment in environmental protection, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment continues to create conditions for lending to projects in need of borrowing capital to invest in converting waste collection and transport facilities and concentrated waste water treatment facilities in the course of production and business.

In addition, the department guides and supports enterprises in borrowing capital, and also inspects, supervises and urges project units in the disbursement stage to accelerate the disbursement process. The Department has well controlled the debt collection situation, with an estimated total of VND 7,217 billion, including VND 5,967 billion of principal and VND 1,250 billion of interest. The Department also urged mining enterprises to make deposits for environmental renovation and restoration in 2019 in accordance with regulations.
