Di An celebrates Youth Union’s 84th founding anniversary, honors outstanding youths

Late March 22, Di An town’s Youth Union held a get-together to celebrate the 84^th founding anniversary of the Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2015) and honor Youth Union members winning the “March flower” title. More than 300 local Youth Union members attended the event.

At the get-together, the town’s Youth Union admitted additional 85 new members, honored 84 members with excellent achievements in study and cultural-sports fields and those who have won the 2015 “March flower” title. The organizers also awarded prizes to teams participating in the tournaments of football, tug-of-war, bag jumping…organized by the town’s Youth Union; presented gifts to Youth Union members born in March.

The get-together aimed to raise the local Youth Union members’ awareness of politics and national pride; educate them about the glorious tradition of the Youth Union and teenagers-children’s movements during the past 84 years; create an joyful atmosphere among them to promote youth volunteer movements.
