Youth Union’s 84th founding anniversary marked in Tan Uyen

At the ceremony, the local Youth Union officials over periods reviewed the 45-year tradition of the Youth Union. Upholding the glorious tradition of the Youth Union, Tan Uyen town has constantly improved the operational quality of the local youth movements. The town’s Youth Union has so far had a total of 35 affiliates with more than 5,000 members.

Last year, the local youth carried out many practical activities, including installing solar energy-using lights at town’s Martyrs’ Cemetery; realizing the “For the sentiment towards national islands and border areas” program; awarding “Green dream” scholarships worth VND100mln to poor pupils…

Representative of the allied Youth Unions of the town’s Agencies Bloc also presented a symbol of youth work worth VND18mln to the town’s Youth Union Standing Committee. The youth work will offer help to policy beneficiary families, former Youth Union officials, Youth Union members, teenagers and children with difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, two Youth Union officials of the town were awarded the “For young generation” mementoes of the Youth Union’s Central Committee.
