Di An’s retail sales of goods and services up 16.68%

According to the assessment of the People's Committee of Di An city, the city’s total retail sales of goods and revenues from services in the first quarter of 2024 maintained growth with the amount of goods guaranteed to well serve people’s needs for consumption.

Particularly, the city’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services was estimated at more than VND 33 trillion, or 17.94% of the yearly plan, up 16.68% over the same period in 2023. Since early this year, the city has set up and implemented a plan to resolve businesses’ difficulties while controlling goods and market prices, fully preparing to serve shopping needs and avoid the situation of purchasing goods or increasing goods’prices unusually. In addition, the city has strengthened inspection and prevention of smuggling and trade fraud, punished 8 cases of violation with a total fine of VND 125 million and forced destruction of goods worth VND 87.5 million...
