Economic and Budget Division review of the periodic agenda items submitted to the provincial People's Council

On the morning of December 6, Binh Duong provincial People's Council's Economic and Budget Division organized a meeting to review the contents related to the economic and budgetary field for the 13th regular session (end-of-year session) of the 10th provincial People's Council. Tran Thi Minh Hanh, Head of the Economic and Budget Division of the provincial People's Council, chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting was Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee presented the draft report on the review of draft resolutions in the economic and budgetary field for the 13th session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, including: the socio-economic development situation, national defense and security in 2023, and the direction and tasks for 2024 (in the economic and budgetary field); the public investment plan for 2024 from the state budget; the state budget revenue estimate in the area, revenue, expenditure, and allocation of local budgets in 2024; The list of projects subject to land reclamation and conversion of paddy fields in 2024 in the province; the investment policy for the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh expressway project passing through Binh Duong province; the land price adjustment coefficient in 2024 in the province. After reviewing the appraisal report, the basic delegates agreed with the content of the draft appraisal report; at the same time, they provided opinions on the necessary adjustments and additions to ensure suitability.

Concluding the meeting, Tran Thi Minh Hanh acknowledged the opinions of the delegates regarding the draft report on the review of the implementation of the provincial People's Council's resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2023. Based on the contributions of the delegates, the Economic and Budget Committee of the provincial People's Council proposed that the drafting units further incorporate the opinions of the delegates, review, adjust, and supplement the draft resolutions for the 13th regular session of the People's Council (end-of-year session).
