Economy promoted with growth model renewal

In order to complete socio-economic development plan for 2023, provincial People's Committee has required departments, sectors and localities to maintain the spirit of overcoming difficulties, proactively adapting, flexibly and creatively innovating. In particular, they need to further speed up the process of socio-economic recovery and development, promoting growth on the basis of digital transformation and digital economy, accelerating the construction of synchronous infrastructure, focusing on administrative reform, improving the local investment climate.

New motivation

As of now, province-based enterprises have further accelerated production to meet orders and complete the goals, production and business plans set out in 2023. Timely encouragement from all-level authorities and sectors in the province has helped enterprises increase confidence, help employees get more motivation to devote, show efforts with the desire of achieving new successes.

At a recent meeting with provincial leaders, Chen Shui Shih, Head of province-based Taiwan Business Association said that in 2022, although facing many difficulties, with the efforts by themselves plus support mechanisms and policies of the province, Taiwanese-invested enterprises gradually overcame difficulties. He affirmed that the production and business activities of Taiwanese-invested enterprises have received great support from provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and agencies. As a result, up to now, 864 Taiwanese projects in the province have maintained stable and efficient production and business activities.

Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee said that Binh Duong is determined to further accelerate the process of socio-economic recovery and development with radical solutions to promote administrative reform, improve the local investment climate to promote growth. To be proactive to welcome big investors, the province will further promote administrative reform, build infrastructure facilities, train high-quality human resources, creating an attractive investment climate for investors in the local development program of 2023.

“Binh Duong is committed to supporting enterprises on administrative procedures, land procedures, import and export activities. During the operational process, if having difficulties, enterprises can directly contact the province, relevant departments and agencies to solve them", Mr. Minh emphasized.

Determined to fulfill the plan

To further create a stronger change in the business climate, improving competitiveness, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of socio-economic development plan for 2023 while supporting enterprises to recover and develop, adapt to the current context, ensuring the goal of removing difficulties and not creating new barriers, provincial People's Committee has proposed 11 groups of tasks and key solutions in 2023. Closely following central and provincial resolutions, provincial People's Committee made the best efforts and determination to implement the plan with the motto of "Unity, discipline; stance, flexibility; proactiveness and creation; opportuneness and efficiency”.

The key goal for 2023 is to focus on effectively implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW dated October 7, 2022 on socio-economic development and assurance of national defense and security in the Southeastern region to 2030, vision to 2045 and resolutions, action programs to implement the Resolution of the 11^th provincial Party Congress; further accelerate the process of socio-economic recovery and development, ensuring major balances of the economy; accelerate economic restructuring in association with renovating the growth model, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness, strengthening the resilience of the economy; improve the business climate, promote creative startup, effectively participate in regional and global value chains; step up the construction of synchronous infrastructure, increase the effective mobilization and use of investment resources of the economy; consolidate national defense - security, maintain social order and safety.

Mr. Minh emphasized that in 2022, the province faced many difficulties, but results achieved were very respectable. This will be the foundation for Binh Duong to continue successfully implementing the tasks, targets and plans of 2023 right from the first months and first quarters of the year. He requested all-level authorities, sectors, localities and key leaders to direct key tasks and solutions in a proactive, flexible, creative and drastic manner in the right direction, based on the actual situation.

“Provincial leaders have requested all-level authorities and sectors to urgently set up plans and concretize the directives and plans of provincial People's Committee in each locality and each unit managed by them. Each unit and locality must closely follow the directions of provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to implement necessary measures, striving to successfully complete the goals and tasks in 2023", emphasized Mr.Minh.
