Eight companies manufacturing, trading pharmaceuticals and cosmetics required to improve shortcomings

Provincial Department of Health has just established a delegation to inspect companies manufacturing, trading pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, dietary supplements and medical equipment in 2022.

Within 7 days, the delegation conducted inspection tours of 14 companies manufacturing, trading pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, dietary supplements and medical equipment in the province. Through the inspection tour, the delegation reminded and asked 8 out of 14 companies to send reports explaining the task of improving shortcomings. Typically, the branch of Traphaco Joint Stock Company in Binh Duong has not fully monitored its storage conditions on transport vehicles yet, and there have been no reports of incidents of temperature and humidity exceeding the prescribed levels. The branch of Pymepharco Joint Stock Company in Binh Duong has not yet set up a plan for self-inspection and internal assessment, and has not organized periodical health checks for employees. For Indochine Pharmaceutical and Trading Co., Ltd. at the time of inspection, the company’s pharmacist in charge of the specialty was absent. The delegation took 16 product samples (12 drug samples and 4 health food samples) from 8 companies. Among the 16 product samples, there were 2 samples of Molnupiravir Stella 400mg hard capsules, registration number: VD3-168-22, including 2 lots 980322 and 970322. Test results showed that all drug samples met quality standards under basic standards. The inspection showed that 2 Molnupiravir drug manufacturing companies and 1 Molnupiravir drug wholesale company complied with regulations on storage, trading and publicity of drug selling prices as prescribed.
