Emulation movements to express patriotism

Early June 4, Binh Duong Provincial Labor Union holds a conference praising up elite working people in the stage of 2010-2014. 254 collectives and individuals representing over 27,500 officers and 890,000 working people in the province were praised for their prominent achievements in patriotism emulation movement for the past time.

Implementing the call for patriotism emulation movements on June 11, 1948 of President Ho Chi Minh, the movements have been coordinated with authorities to promote the implementation. Patriotism emulation movements have been populated by particular actions including skill and profession training including readiness for accessing knowledge and new technology to promote creativity, deligence, excellent efficient, and quality duties while practising labor safety.

Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Deputy President of Binh Duong Provincial Labor Union informed that the specific movements of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples and elevation of responsibilities of officials and cadres in the emulation movement to train up honesty, creativity, devotion, and modeling of the officials and cadres in professional administrative agencies.

Particularly, the emulation movement for creative and excellent labor has attracted over 80% of working people across various major socio-economic sectors of the province. Accordingly, collectives and individuals emerged as excellent and model of overcoming difficulties.

Particularly, officials, cadres, and civil servants have been standardized thanks to their non-stop qualification training to uphold ethics and tremendous transformation of working style and discipline as well as saving-up awareness to effectively reduce administrative costs and public burden.

For production and business block, in 5 years, 2,770 production constructions of over VND 1,360.7 billion in investment, yielding over VND 950 billion in benefits. In the meantime, 7,629 initiatives and technical improvement have been implemented for higher yield and benefits for enterprises over VND 200 billion with VND 672 billion of bonuses. Of the initiatives, 30 ones have been praised by general Labor Union and creative labor title. Thanks to the movements, enterprises have overcome difficulties to settle down labor relationship and improve production and business effectiveness.

According to Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, the patriotism emulation movements have brought up practical effects on activities of agencies, units, production and business production in enterprises, contributing to socio-economic development of the province.

“For the time to come, the movements will be promoted to robustly contribute into strengthening the Labor Union while successfully implement the cause of industrialization and modernization of the nation in the phase of global integration,” said Nhan.
