Provincial police force inspects safety on fire prevention-fighting and rescue for election day in Ben Cat town

Specifically, on the evening of May 20, provincial Fire Prevention-Fighting and Rescue Police Division organized propaganda on fire prevention and fighting for standing forces at polling stations in Thu Dau Mot city’s Chanh My ward. Soldiers under the division’s Fire Prevention-Fire and Rescue Police Team on the river introduced a number of legal documents on fire prevention and fighting; basic knowledge of fire, explosion; measures to organize fire prevention and rescue; features, effects and usage of some common fire fighting-rescue means; steps to handle when a fire or explosion occurs...

On May 21, an inspection delegation of provincial Police Agency on fire prevention-fighting and rescue safety, led by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Diep, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency inspected the work of ensuring fire prevention and fighting safety in service of the elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure in Ben Cat town.

The delegation checked the following contents: Advisory work on implementation of self-inspection of fire prevention and fighting safety, results of propaganda on fire prevention and fighting at polling stations; results of the guidance and inspection of fire prevention and fighting safety before, during and after the elections, especially at the polling stations...

The delegation had a field-trip to polling stations in Ben Cat town. As a result, the delegation highly appreciated the local election preparations. The town well prepared methods to ensure fire prevention -fighting safety and security so that the elections will take place successfully.

Being proactive in crime prevention

As noted by reporters, over the past few days, police forces from provincial to grassroots levels simultaneously launched attacks against crimes, ensuring a safe and secure environment towards the complete festival of the people throughout the country.

Prior to that, under the Ministry of Public Security’s dispatch on launching a peak campaign to crack down on crimes, ensuring security and order for the elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure from April 23 to June 23, Director of provincial Police Agency has continued requesting police units and localities to effectively implement a plan on verifying, arresting, mobilizing the wanted subjects to give themselves up to the police; launching a peak campaign to crack down on crimes, preventing the illegal exit and entry cases. In addition, provincial Police Agency’s Steering Committee 138 has advised provincial People's Committee on setting up a plan to transform the local key complex areas on social order and safety in the 2021- 2025 period.

On the basis of the direction of the Director of provincial Police Agency, 100% of police units and localities, according to their functions and tasks, have issued plans close to the situation, assigned tasks, organized deployment to all officers and soldiers…Provincial Police Agency’s PC06 Division has continued urging and guiding the local police units to effectively implement regulations on management of weapons, explosives, support tools, and strengthen measures against acts of illegally producing, trading, transporting, storing and using weapons, explosives and combat gears; mobilize the entire people to hand over weapons, explosives and combat gears and fight against related crimes in the province; strengthen residential management, especially in bordering areas, lodging facilities, dormitories, industrial parks-compounds clusters and complex areas on security-order.

The Division PK02 has also cooperated with the enhanced Mobile Police force under the Ministry of Public Security and the local police force to protect targets, key areas and activities of provincial leaders, organize drills to deal with perturbative gatherings…The Division PC08 has urged the local traffic police force to strengthen patrols, handling violations on traffic safety…

As a result, the local police force has stepped up basic professional work, completing targets in the peak campaign of cracking down on crimes. In terms of the phase 1 of the peak campaign, provincial Police Agency reached high results. During the phase 1 of the peak campaign, there were 35 cases, including 12 very and extremely serious cases and 23 less serious and serious cases. The local police force also investigated and clarified 35/35 cases, reaching the rate of 100%, arresting 50 subjects, revoking assets of more than VND200million. Regarding gambling crimes, the local police force detected 12 cases, handled 89 subjects and seized more than VND 400 million…

In addition, the local police force eliminated 6 groups of criminal subjects who committed the following acts: Robbery, gambling organization and illegal storage of narcotics and arrested 21 subjects; set up many special projects to synthesize professional measures, unexpectedly inquiried 4 serious and extremely serious cases, arresting 16 subjects, disbanding 2 gangs operating in Thu Dau Mot city.
