From a fund of small plans, Thu Dau Mot town Young Pioneer Council conferred 40 scholarships on talented disadvantaged pupils.

Le Huynh Thanh Ngan, young pioneer team head of Nguyen Du primary school makes everyone surprised by her energy. Despite pains caused by lung cancer disease, Ngan has never renounced her learning dream.

At present, her family is facing difficulties of finance, owing to costs of her treatment. “I wish to be a good doctor to treat poor children throughout the country”, she said.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Ha is now 10 years old but she has had mature thinking compared to her peers. “In this summer vacation, I will work overtime to help my mother”, has shared.

Born in an unlucky family, her father passed away when she was a kid, her mother must earn a living by selling vegetables. Witnessing her mother’s hardship, she pleases her mother by good academic results.

Tran Thi Thuy Ngan, a 3rd grader of Ding Hoa primary school revealed “my mother is a mental patient for many years. I will make efforts to reach good academic results to be a doctor in purpose of treating for her”. Though she is still a young girl, she is good at housework. Washing, rice cooking and care for mother is her daily work.

Winning Kim Dong scholarship, Ngan said that she will spend much money to treat for her mother.
