Export revenue of electronic products rises

According to the provincial Statistics Office, the trade balance of goods in the first 6 months of 2023 had a trade surplus of USD 4,322.7 million. In which, the domestic-invested economic sector had a trade surplus of USD 1,276.8 million while the foreign-invested economic sector had a trade surplus of USD 3,045.9 million.

While the export turnover of key products of the province such as furniture, textiles, and leather shoes all decreased, the export turnover of goods in the first 6 months of 2023 of computers, electronic products and components reached USD 642.5 million, increasing by 6.8% over the same period and accounting for 4.2% of export turnover of the province. The main export market is the US accounting for 51.5% of the total and increasing by 6.6% over the same period; respectively, the Japanese market accounted for 15.3%, increasing by 6%; EU accounted for 11%, increasing by 12.8%; Thailand accounted for 5.6%, increasing by 4.6%; China accounted for 3.6%, increasing by 7.3%; Hong Kong accounted for 2.8%, increasing 5.9%.
