Free customs declaration software for enterprises implemented

Provincial Customs Department has just provided enterprises with a free customs declaration software in order to support them to overcome difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Previously, the customs agency deployed a free software under the VNACCS/VCIS automatic clearance system. But, with this software, enterprises must download and install it by appropriate equipment. The new customs declaration software will be centrally installed at the General Department of Customs, with a declaration address on the internet. Accordingly, enterprises only need internet-connected devices to be able to access this software for declaration. In addition, this free customs declaration software will be updated to meet new requirements. Thus, in addition to the benefit of cost reduction, enterprises and people will soon approach and proactively respond to changes of the customs sector when implementing a digital customs system and a smart customs model.

Provincial Customs Department is promoting the task of reforming administrative procedures with modernization, facilitating import and export activities, reducing customs clearance time, striving to support the business community.
