From 1st January 2013, Law on Marriage and Family 2014 will officially take effect. Law on Marriage and Family 2014 has many new features, such as: permission to surrogacy; increase of marriage age, abrogation of same-sex marriage bans, additional regulations on conjugal properties…
Regulations relating to surrogacy were expressed in articles from 94 to 100 of Chapter V of the law determining the parents in case of surrogacy for humanitarian purposes; surrogacy conditions, agreements for humanitarian purposes; rights and obligations of the parties asking for surrogacy and surrogate mothers for humanitarian purposes; handle violations of pregnancy assisted by reproduction techniques and surrogacy… in order to solve the objective requirements of marriage and family; respect and enforce the implementation of human rights and civil rights.
Besides Law on Marriage and Family 2014, 12 other legal documents, such as: Law on Notaries, Law on Health Insurance, Employment Law... will also officially take effect from 1-1-2015.
