Further paying attention to cadre work, effectively preventing pandemic and ensuring social welfare

Early December 8, the Executive Board of the 12^th Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee held its 14^th  session to review the local socio-economic situation, national defense and security and building of political system in 2021; set out orientations and tasks for 2022. In 2021, the Executive Board of the city’s Party Committee highly focused on leading the local political system and people to perform the "dual tasks" of effectively preventing, controlling the pandemic and taking solutions to overcome difficulties, promoting socio-economic development, maintaining political security, social order and safety, and taking care of people's lives. The city’s Party Committee completed the political tasks set out in the year. In particular, the city became the first unit in the "red zone" of the province to transform into a "green zone" and bring all activities back to the “new normal” state from September 10. In 2022, the city’s Party Committee will further implement the "dual goals" of safely, flexibly adapting to and effectively controlling the pandemic while focusing on solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, creating favorable and safe conditions for people and enterprises to develop production, business activities and services; continue paying attention to social welfare, public healthcare; strengthen administrative reform, building up a transparent e-government...

Addressing the session, Mr. Thao highly appreciated the efforts by the city’s Party Committee in 2021 in socio-economic development, especially Covid-19 prevention and control. He requested the city’s Party Committee to further focus on building the local political system, especially pay attention to cadre work.
