Get-together held to mark 12 years of Vietnamese Cooperative Day

On April 11, the Union of Cooperatives of Binh Duong province held a meeting to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Vietnamese Cooperative Day (April 11, 2011 to April 11, 2023).

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the process of formation, the development and tradition of the collective economic sector with the core being cooperatives, the position, role and image of cooperatives in the socio-economic development of the province and the country.

Merit certificates are given to excellent individuals

On the occasion of the meeting, the provincial Cooperative Union signed a cooperation program with Binh Duong Con Voi (Elephant) Trade Branch under BIWASE. According to the signed content, the Binh branch will bring organic fertilizer product line to serve agricultural production such as rubber trees, citrus trees, and edible vegetables, tubers and fruits in the province, implementing preferential policies to support the distribution of organic fertilizer products to farmers, farms, cooperative groups and cooperatives.

The two units work together to develop a specific program for each year, ensuring that it is suitable to the actual situation and needs of farmers to encourage farms, cooperative groups and cooperatives to use organic fertilizers to produce and trade in safe agricultural products for public health in the province.

On the occasion, the Vietnamese Cooperative awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals with excellent achievements in completing tasks in 2022; the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 8 individuals with excellent achievements in completing tasks in 2022.

* Within the framework of the meeting, the provincial Cooperative organized a sports event to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Vietnamese Cooperative Day to include tug of war, smashing piggy bank, using butt to hit the ball, aiming to create an exciting atmosphere contributing to improving the working efficiency of agencies and units.
