After five years of implementation, the Politburo No.03 on “Continued acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” has made obvious changes from awareness to action among the local Youth Union officials and members. For greater concern, Binh Duong Daily had an interview with Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of provincial Youth Union.

-What are the local youths’considerable results after five-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.03?

Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee made efforts in concretizing “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” by appropriate programs and plans over the past five years.

Accordingly, the local Youth Union branches constantly created a lot of new and effective models in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings, absorbing 60,000 Youth Union members. They included “Giving and receiving golden hearts”, “Installing late President Ho Chi Minh’s testament”, “Saving power in one hour under Uncle Ho’s teaching”, “Green office”, “Friendly, flexible Youth Union members”, “Smile at workplace”, “Journey following Uncle Ho’s footsteps”…All contributed to raising Youth Union members’ responsibility for implementation of the local political tasks.

After five-year implementation, the Politburo’s Directive No.3 has made strong changes from awareness to action of studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings among the local Youth Union officials and members, repulsing bad actions in collective and individual. This also contributed to forming up many advanced role-models in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals. Many outstanding youths in the fields of study, business…were also honored and sorted out to attend festivals of advanced youths following Uncle Ho’s teachings at all levels.

-Why did the local youths reach good results in realization of the Politburo’s Directive No.03 over the past five years?

The first reason came from the efforts by provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in devising action programs, plans of the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.03 that were very practical and in line with the real situation of each locality and unit. The next reason was that propaganda and inspection work on the directive was well implemented by provincial Youth Unions at all levels.

-Which measures will provincial Youth Union Standing Committee step up to further promote “studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”?

Based on experience after the five-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.3, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will make a plan to effectively execute the Politburo’s Directive No.5-CT/TW on “Continued acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” by concrete and practical actions.

Provincial Youth Union will also speed up propaganda work; continue widely multiplied effective models among Youth Union members, discover and honor outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals; especially well realize activities “following President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”, thereby contributing to successfully carrying out the Resolutions of the 10^th provincial Party Congress and the 12^th National Party Congress

-What messages will you send to the local youths in implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.05?

The local Youth Union members should consider “studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” as daily deeds, beginning from the smallest ones; set bright examples in studying and researching writings on late President Ho Chi Minh; try their best in training morality, raising awareness of thrift practice, responsibility to entrusted tasks; well obey the Party’s policies and the State’s laws…, contributing to building up a Binh Duong municipality under the central control by 2020.
