Gratitude house donated to revolutionary contributor in city

On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the Southern Power Corporation (SPC) of the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN-SPC) in collaboration with Binh Duong Electricity Company, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) held a ceremony to hand over a gratitude houses to the family of Nguyen Van Mot, a revolutionary contributor, born in 1931, residing in Chanh Nghia ward’s quarter 9 in TDM city.

The 42sq.m-house has a total construction cost of VND80million, comprising of VND30million from provincial Gratitude Fund and VND50million from the EVN-SPC. Lam Hoang Phuoc, Head of the EVN-SPC’s Department for Communications said that this year, the EVN-SPC has coordinated with provincial DoLISA to support VND500million for construction of gratitude houses for the local policy beneficiary families.

Prior to that, the delegation also visited, encouraged and presented a gift to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Dinh, born in 1929, residing in Lai Thieu ward’s Binh Hoa quarter in Thuan An town.
