Under the campaign of “Civilized urban, cultural lifestyle”, TDM city’s Youth Unions at all levels have carried out “green street corner” works at people’s demand for relaxation space…

Green parks

With the support of the local authorities at all levels together with relevant units, the Youth Union of Phu Loi ward has built a green youth park on the group 22’s fallow in quarter 3. It is known that the Youth Union of the ward coordinated with some units under provincial Police Agency to clean up, plant flowers and create a green space from recycled plastic bottles at the park. Since then, the Youth Union of the ward and its branch in quarter 3 have regularly planted flowers, decorated the park while mobilizing locals to keep environmental hygiene herein.

A youth park in TDM city’s Phu Loi ward is always nice, clean and green

The park has become a playground for the local people. According to Tran Ai Nhu, a resident in Phu Loi ward, the park is a relaxation place with nice-clean-green space, bringing the joy ang good health to all people.

A picture with “Joining hands in environmental protection” words at the quarter 7’s park in Phu Cuong ward has also brought a new space to locals when coming here for relaxation. This is one of “green street corner” works done by the Youth Union branches of Phu Cuong ward.

The Youth Union branch of quarter 12 has also carried out a youth work through drawing pictures on the wall, creating special and eye-catching street corners. In quarter 2, the Youth Union of the ward has just coordinated with students of Thu Dau Mot University to draw pictures on the wall with contents in celebration of the 90^th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930-February 3, 2020)…With eye-catching pictures, the work will contribute to improving the efficiency of propaganda on building up a nice-clean-green living environment.

The “green street corner” model has been promoted among the Youth Union branches of TDM city. With significant activities from the model, the local Youth Union members have contributed to making street corners greener…
