Binh Duong announces the Administrative Reform Index in 2023.

On the afternoon of April 26, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to announce the results of the Administrative Reform Index in 2023 and the Satisfaction Index on Administrative Services in 2023 of departments, committees, sectors, district-level People's Committees, commune-level People's Committees, and deploy tasks for 2024. Attending were Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Committee Member of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Committee Member of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thu Dau Mot.

The analysis reports published the results of the Administrative Reform Index in 2023 at the conference, showing that at the provincial level, with a score of 93.75 points, the Department of Information and Communication ranked first; the second place is the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with 93.35%; the Department of Home Affairs ranks third. For district-level People's Committees, Thu Dau Mot City leads with a score of 97.68 points. This is the 10th consecutive year that Thu Dau Mot City has led the Administrative Reform Index. Tan Uyen City rose to second place in 2023 with 94.13 points; followed by Di An City, Ben Cat Town, and Thuan An City. At the commune level, Hiep Thanh Ward in Thu Dau Mot City leads with a score of 99.09 points; followed by Phu Tho, Chanh My, Phu Hoa, Phu My, Phu Loi, Hoa Phu, Phu Cuong, Dinh Hoa, Phu Tan, Hiep An, Tan An, Tuong Binh Hiep, Chanh Nghia wards, all belonging to Thu Dau Mot City's group of excellent scores.

At the conference, Mr. Mai Hung Dung requested the heads of agencies, units, and localities to enhance guidance on reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and drawing lessons from the implementation process and results of the Administrative Reform Index in 2023, to promote advantages, play a leading role in administrative procedure reform, handle administrative procedures, especially on digital platforms to contribute to the successful implementation of the 766 index associated with digital transformation and brand recognition, with the goal of user-centered administrative services.

The provincial People's Committee has awarded commendations to 26 collectives and 37 individuals with outstanding achievements in administrative reforms in 2023.
