The outspreading models of women learning and following President Ho Chi Minh

Through the efforts of each collective and individual in concretizing the contents of study and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, the levels of the Women's Union at the provincial level have had creative ways and models.

Comprehensive models

All levels of the Women's Union from provincial to grassroots have identified learning and following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh as a central and regular activity in the Union's activities and daily life. The Women's Union in districts, towns, cities, wards, and communes all focus on building and maintaining models following Uncle Ho as well as promoting emulation movements, setting examples of good people, good deeds associated with nurturing the qualities of women. All levels of the union have actively responded to the movement "Binh Duong Women are healthy, knowledgeable, creative, responsible" contributing to building Vietnamese women in the new era.

In Bac Tan Uyen district, the Women's Union of the district has launched the movement "Women follow President Ho Chi Minh's words, practice thrift, help each other reduce poverty sustainably", receiving enthusiastic response from officials, women union members, families, communities and society to participate. In addition, the union also maintains savings models at the group level, rotating capital groups, savings groups, mutual support groups and annually supports capital for over 500 women to engage in small trading businesses, helping stabilize their family economy.

Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh, a large number of CPV members, and women in the province have raised awareness of environmental protection through specific actions.

In Thuan An city, the Women's Union and 10 communes and wards have maintained 148 models, clubs, groups with 9 types of activities (charity, sports, environmental protection, urban civilization, culture and arts, family economic development, elderly women gathering, educated women, and education for women), with the participation of many female members, creating positive changes in implementing the criteria of the emulation movements.

Mrs. Vo Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Thuan An City, said that in order for studying and following President Ho Chi Minh to truly go into depth, the city's Women's Union has directed grassroots unions to implement many practical models and activities to help more than 7,560 women and workers in difficult circumstances.

To the grassroots

In Phu Giao district, recently, the Women's Union of the district has also implemented many emulation movements, practical work associated with promoting learning and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh. Thereby, arousing creative consciousness in each cadre, member, promoting the women's movement in the commune and strengthening the organization of the union increasingly strong, contributing to building a rich, civilized, and beautiful homeland.

To specify the specific emulation movements, recently, the Women's Union of Tam Lap commune has launched the "Family Trash Can" model to protect the environment in Duoi Chuot hamlet with 28 members being female union members in the hamlet participating. Or like the "Women's Club for Saving Scrap" in Cay Kho hamlet, Dong Tam hamlet and Duoi Chuot hamlet have also shown the spirit of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s practice of saving and protecting the environment.

The above mentioned clubs operate on a voluntary basis and are responsible for collecting and managing funds from waste materials. Club members have the task of propagating and mobilizing officials, members, women and people in the hamlet to raise awareness and promote the practice of thrift, gradually building a culture of thrift in daily life in each family, turning waste into money to create a fund to buy health insurance to help members in difficult circumstances at the branch.

Mrs. Huynh Thi Thuy Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Women's Union, said that studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example has become a regular and self-conscious activity of all levels of the union, creating a shift in awareness, ideology, moral discipline, lifestyle, and work responsibility consciousness. Union members have focused on preserving, cultivating, and nurturing moral qualities. In addition, the union has launched many programs and activities to assist union members, women, and children in overcoming difficulties.
