On the afternoon of May 10, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize the enlistment in the army in 2024. In 2024, Binh Duong province will deliver 1,906 new recruits, including 1,550 new recruits to military service and 356 new recruits to police service. Among the 1,550 new military recruits, there are 29 official party members, reaching 1.87%; There are 412 new recruits with professional qualifications from junior college to university levels, accounting for 26.58%; Health categories 1 and 2 have 1,207 new recruits, reaching 77.87%; There were 925 volunteer applications for military service, including 66 applications for long-term volunteer service in the army.

Speaking at the conference, Dung emphasized that to complete the military recruitment target by 2025, all levels, branches and Military Enlistment Councils at all levels must proactively update and effectively implement new regulatory documents on military recruitment. He also proposed promoting the role of each member of the Military Enlistment Councils and departments, branches and organizations at the same level; all levels and relevant sectors need to proactively advise and propose creative models and methods in implementing a comprehensive military recruitment process...

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee rewarded 24 collectives, 18 individuals and 12 households with outstanding achievements in recruiting and calling up citizens in 2024.
