Hungary, Vietnam boost court cooperation

 The Vietnamese Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme Court of Hungary will cooperate in applying information technology for management, training cadres, statistics and developing law reports.

This was agreed between the Hungarian President of the Supreme Court and National Council of Justice, Dr. Andras Baka, and the Chief Judge of the Vietnamese Supreme People’s Court, Truong Hoa Binh, at a meeting on September 27.

Chief Judge Binh expressed his gratitude for the Hungarian people’s support during Vietnam’s resistance wars and in training a large number of scientific experts, managers for the country.

He said the two Supreme Courts should work together closely in both management and judgment and promote the traditional friendship between the two countries.

President Baka thanked the Vietnamese Supreme People’s Court for its warm welcome and said he hopes his visit will open up a new period of development in the cooperation between the two institutions.

Both  sides introduced their juridical systems and shared experiences to improve their work.

They also signed a memorandum of cooperation after the meeting.
