On the evening of July 27, more than 800 youth union members participated in an incense-burning ceremony at Binh Duong Provincial Martyrs Cemetery to remember and pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024). Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, deputy head of the Provincial National Assembly’s delegation, and representatives of provincial departments and branches attended the ceremony.
In an emotional and solemn atmosphere, the delegates performed a flag-raising ceremony and commemorated President Ho Chi Minh, the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and heroic martyrs; offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union expressed: The youth of the entire province would like to express their sincere respect, remembrance and deep gratitude for the great contributions of great President Ho Chi Minh, heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and families who have contributed to the revolution in the struggles to protect national independence. Binh Duong's youth today and in the future will never forget and be grateful to the past generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.
On this occasion, units awarded 10 scholarships and gifts to children and grandchildren of disadvantaged families of martyrs; which was sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Binh Duong Branch.
