Over the past years, North Tan Uyen district’s industrial sector played an important role in the local economic structure. Industrial development also helped the district generate jobs for laborers while improving laborers’ income.

In 2019, North Tan Uyen district-based industrial parks and compounds absorbed 16 investment projects. Particularly, Dat Cuoc industrial park lured 13 investment projects of 35.89 hectares. Tan Binh industrial park attracted 3 investment projects of 2.53 hectares.

Provincial Department of Planning and Investment granted 85 business registration certificates to district-based enterprises with total investment capital of more than VND1.36trillion. The district also had 7 enterprises dissolved with total investment capital of VND15.3billion. As of now, the whole district has had a total of 542 enterprises granted business registration certificates with total investment capital of more than VND9.17trillion…
Advantages for industrial development
The district is now home to 4 industrial compounds and parks with more than 1,073 hectares and well-built infrastructure facilities.
The over 212-hectare Dat Cuoc industrial park has so far absorbed 64 investment projects of 131.29 hectares with the land tenancy rate of 99%. Tan Uyen urban-industrial park has also attracted 58 investment projects of 174.9 hectares. Whilst, Tan Binh industrial park of more than 257 hectares has perfected its infrastructure facilities and drawn 51 investment projects of 171.5 hectares with the land tenancy rate of 76.87%. Tan My industrial compound has also fulfilled around 50% of its technical infrastructure system and lured 12 investment projects of 29 hectares…
In addition, the Government’s Prime Minister has said ok to two projects on construction of Tan Lap 1 industrial park of 400 hectares and Vietnam-Singapore 3 industrial park of 1,000 hectares in the district.
According to the district’s People’s Committee, the district’s industrial production value last year was more than VND3.79billion, up 12.53% compared to 2018. District-based enterprises also generated jobs for more than 2,000 enterprises. In 2020, the district will strive to reach a growth of 11%-13% in industrial production value. To achieve this target, the district has made efforts in luring investment projects into industrial compounds and parks; encouraged enterprises to get involved in hi-tech industries…
Such these apart, leaders of the district will regularly organize dialogues with enterprises; hastened the progress of compensation and site clearance for key projects, including the expanded Dat Cuoc industrial park project, Tan Binh industrial park, Vietnam-Singapore 3 industrial park in the phase 1…The district will continue intensifying inspection over the realization of regulations on land, environment, construction among home industrial, industrial facilities while seriously handling wrong cases…
