And, Japan is a major investor in Binh Duong with 350 enterprises, total investment capital of US$6 billion with many large corporations and companies, namely Aeon, Tokyu… Currently, Binh Duong is focusing on developing industrial parks and new urban areas in the northern districts; planning to develop its railway line transporting goods and passengers from Song Than in Di An city connecting through Bau Bang district to Binh Phuoc province.
In addition, the railway project from Song Than to Cai Mep port, with a length of about 66km, will be deployed by the Ministry of Transport in the near future. In parallel with the BRT bus route project being considered for funding by JICA, the planning of the urban Metro line is appropriate and necessary in the near future for the planning and development of the province's traffic infrastructure. Mr. Hayakawa Yuho expressed his impression on Binh Duong's industrial urban development speed and many projects of Japanese enterprises investing effectively in the province. He believed that with synchronous and modern infrastructure, Binh Duong will be the focal point for FDI attraction in the region. He welcomed and highly appreciated the idea and vision of Binh Duong's traffic infrastructure planning while adding that he will cooperate and accompany the province to further consider funding traffic infrastructure development projects. With the project of extending Metro line from Suoi Tien to Binh Thang ward in Di An city by 1.8km, JICA will be ready to consider and solve capital sources to implement it at the request of the investor…
