Taiwan’s Kingtec Group, on June 24, signed a land lease contract with Becamex IDC, in attendance of provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung together with leaders of some sectors, departments in the province.

Under the above contract, Kingtec Group will hire 16 hectares in the My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park (IP) to build a factory specializing in producing LED lamps and bulbs for export with total investment capital of US$30mln for the first phase.

Speaking at the event, Mr.Cung said that Kingtec Group’s production was suitable with the province’s orientation calling for investment. Provincial People’s Committee would create favorable conditions for the corporation to quickly implement the project.

It is known that Kingtec Group was established in 1985 and currently manufactures lighting equipment, interior decoration, power generators for automobiles and electronics equipment from facilities located in Shenzhen, Guangdong, and Shanghai.
