Law dissemination among laborers promoted

According to Nguyen Thien Phuoc, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial Labor Union, since early this year, provincial Labor Union has promulgated a number of documents on ensuring traffic safety among trade unions at all levels and laborers in the province.

Provincial Trade Unions at all levels have been guided to organize or team up with mass organizations to make dissemination of information about traffic safety among laborers, especially those working for non-State businesses at industrial parks and compounds, lodging facilities…

Binh Duong Labor Magazine, provincial Trade Union’s website at congdoanbinhduong.org.vn have also been instructed to boost dissemination on traffic safety activities before, during and after the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018. In addition, traffic safety dissemination has been regularly maintained on Binh Duong Television-Radio Station.

Possibly speaking, provincial Trade Unions at all levels have deeply, widely propagandized traffic safety among laborers with the following contents: seriously obeying traffic laws; offering help to accident victims; not drinking alcohol when driving on roads; not encroaching on pavement and roads…

In Q1, 2018, provincial Trade Unions at all levels implemented provincial Labor Union’s instruction documents for laborers; disseminated the Law on Road Traffic, the Government’s Decree No.46/ND/CP regulating administrative penalties in the fields of road, railway, inland water transport; reported on serious traffic accidents, raising laborers’ vigilance on traffic safety…

They also joined hands with functional agencies to strengthen propaganda work by many forms, including delivering leaflets to laborers at lodging facilities, teaming up with enterprises and motorcycle agents to organize propaganda activities on traffic safety. Upholding the role of the Trade Union, Binh Duong Labor Magazine, provincial Trade Union’s website:congdongbinhduong.org.vn also accelerated dissemination of information about traffic safety among laborers.

During the last Tet festival, provincial Labor Union organized a “sentimental bus” program, taking nearly 4,000 laborers to return home for Tet; mobilized enterprises to support 500 train tickets and organize bus trips for more than 20,000 laborers to return home for Tet, contributing to minimizing traffic jams and traffic accidents.

Provincial Trade Unions at all levels have also regularly mobilized laborers to improve cultural lifestyle when driving on roads, contributing to minimizing traffic jams in recreational areas, at festivals on Tet and great holidays…
