Leader of TDM visits, congratulates pagodas on Vu Lan festival

Early August 25, Nguyen Van Dong, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee visited and congratulated some city-based pagodas, namely Hung Duc Tu, Hoi Khanh and Tay Tang, on the occasion of the Vu Lan festival 2020.

On behalf of the city’s Party Committee, Mr.Dong awarded flower baskets, gifts to the executive boards of the pagodas, wished them and Buddhist followers a peaceful and happy Vu Lan season. He also applauded the efforts by the pagodas in Covid-19 prevention and control while wanting Buddhist flowers to further uphold the fine traditions of the nation, strengthen the great national unity bloc, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements…, thereby contributing to building up the people of Binh Duong in general and TDM city in particular with compassion and sentiment.

Representatives of the pagodas also thanked leaders of the city for their deep attention, creating favorable conditions for the local Buddhist facilities and dignitaries to work. In the coming time, the local Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers will continue raising their sense of solidarity, well realize the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, live with the motto of “Good life, good religion”, contributing to the common development of the city.
