Leaders of Ben Cat visit martyrs’ cemetery on occasion of the 40th anniversary of South Liberation, National Unification Day

Early April 24, Ben Cat town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee paid a visit to town’s martyrs’ cemetery on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of South Liberation, National Unification Day.

Leaders of the town also paid wreaths and offered incense at the local martyrs’ cemetery to commemorate heroes and martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom. Forty years ago, the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, the pinnacle of it was the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign completely liberated the South of Vietnam and reunified the country. Along with the whole country’s army and people, Ben Cat’s army and people made great contributions to the historic victory. After 40 years of national liberation, Ben Cat has reached a robust growth in all aspects and the lives of the local people have got more comfortable and happier.
