Leaders of Tan Uyen, Ben Cat visit, congratulate Buddhist Executive Boards, pagodas on Lord Buddha’s birthday

Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held 3 delegations to visit and congratulate the local Buddhist Executive Board and pagodas on the occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2561^st birthday.

In each visiting place, leaders of the town extended best regards and congratulations to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns and monks; honored their contributions to the local development while encouraging them to further live with the motto of “good life, good religion” and practise religious activities on the principle of “Buddhism, Nation and Socialism”, contributing to building the national great unity bloc, promoting socio-economic development and maintain political security, social safety and order in the locality.

On this occasion, the town also presented 26 gifts worth VND1million each to heads of the local pagodas.

*On the morning of the same day, leaders of Ben Cat town held a delegation to visit and present gifts to Buddhist dignitaries at pagodas, namely But Phap, Hung Tan, Phap Son and Huong Nghiem, in Phu An commune, Tan Dinh, Chanh Phu Hoa and Hoa Loi wards on the occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2561^st birthday.

In the visiting places, leaders of the town extended best regards to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns and monks; wished them a happy and peaceful festival celebrating Lord Buddha’s 2561^st birthday while wanting them to further live with the motto of “good life, good religion” and join hands with locals to make contributions to the local socio-economic development and build the national great unity bloc.
