Leaders of Thuan An, Phu Giao visit, offer gifts to the elderly

Early June 4, a delegation of Thuan An town’s leaders, led by Do Thanh Tam, Secretary of the town’s Party Committee visited, congratulated and presented gifts to elderly people aged at between 90 and 100 on the occasion of the 77^th anniversary of Vietnam Elderly Day.

In each visiting place, leaders of the town extended best regards to the elderly while wanting that authorities at all levels and descendants will further take good care of them, helping them live happily and healthily. They also awarded the certificates of congratulation on longevity of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee Chairman together gifts worth VND800,000 each to 86 elderly people aged at 90 and above.

*The same day, leaders of Phu Giao district visited, congratulated and offered gifts to elderly people aged at 90.

In the visiting places, leaders of the district extended best regards to the elderly; wished them a healthy and happy life and gave them gifts worth VND800,000 each.

It is known that on this occasion, there are 44 elderly people aged at 90 with gift visits from leaders of the district. For centenarians, they will be visited and receive gifts from leaders of the province and the district on June 7 ahead.
