Legal assistance to be intensified for enterprises

In 2014 and the first months of 2015, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has demanded its inferior agencies to enhance legal assistance to enterprises in a bid to create attractive and unbinding investment environment. Accordingly, measures for organization and consultancy of administrative procedures, investment promotion, and legal assistance for enterprises have been well implemented by sectors, localities and the Center for Public Administration.

Many forms of legal assistance offered to enterprises

Ever since February 2014, Legal Assistance Center has offered legal consultancy services and administrative procedures for domestic and foreign organizations and individuals, contacting Binh Duong Provincial Concentrated Administration Center. Many enterprises have been robustly supported in terms of investment promotion and administrative procedures related to many fields, especially in expansion of businesses and incorporation. On recognizing the importance of legal assistance for enterprises, Mr. Bui Duy Hien, Director of Department of Justice informed of 5 training workshops for over 1,000 enterprises regarding the resolution of labor disputes, enterprise management and other issues to improve legal knowledge and harmonious relationship.

Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has made special attention to answering legal queries of enterprises so as to carry out the legal assistance well, connecting State’s agencies to the enterprises in removing obstacles and drawbacks that the enterprises should face in terms of legality and investment conditions. As a result, the functional agencies such as Tax Department, Customs, Labor Union, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, etc. have responded to various queries of the enterprises contacting the hot lines and through electric portal and civil receptionists. Accordingly, many forms of legal assistance have effectively brought up effects in creating investment environment for the locality helpful to enterprises.

In promoting such achievements, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has approved for Binh Duong Newspaper to coordinate with related agencies and sectors to offer consultancy programs for enterprises through its publication. In the end of February and the beginning of March, 2015, Binh Duong Newspaper opened a column of answering queries on decisions and policies of the Party and the State. The legal consultancy column online is friendly accessible.

To improve the effectiveness of legal dissemination and education in all fields, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has demanded departments, districts, towns, and Thu Dau Mot City to construct and upgrade electronic sites for uploading and updating legal documents and planning information in full with reception and answers to queries and proposals of enterprises and the people.

Determined command

Legal assistance activities for enterprises shall be highly effective in 2015 as Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has determined to command departments and sectors in drafting legal documents in open on electronic websites for public contribution. All the drafting should be reviewed by the enterprises through their opinion contribution before submitting to Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee for issuing. Recently, at the beginning of February 2015, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee decided on organization and activities of the consultancy group offering support through documents, telephones, and email. The activities are practical

Those activities are practical for enterprises to access investment conditions in Binh Duong Province.

Binh Duong Provincial website, through its new interface, has offered official information on all activities and operations of Binh Duong Provincial authority, opening up channels for removing obstacles related to administrative procedures. This is considered as an important step forward in the stage of modernization of State’s administration, creating favorable investment conditions for enterprises and higher public satisfaction.

Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Chair of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee said: “The demand for intensified consultancy for administrative procedures, investment promotion, and legal assistance for enterprises are all necessary. Accordingly, it expresses coherent determination on supporting the enterprises by offering them the best conditions in Binh Duong Province for investment activities.”
