Legal consultancy provided for more than 1,800 workers

According to statistics of provincial Labor Confederation, over the first 5 months of 2020, Trade Union of all levels in the province settled and collaborated with agencies to reconcile, address complaints of workers in accordance with laws. As a result, 18 cases returned to work, discipline of 2 case were lowered, 753 workers were entitled to other benefits with the total compensation, allowance amount of nearly VND375 million.

Regarding legal consulting service, Trade Union of all levels consulted 1,813 cases; especially Law Consulting Center of Binh Duong Trade Union provided 93 direct consultancies for 160 people, indirect consultancies via phone, email, social network for more than 969 people, instructed 16 cases to write complaint, lawsuit and legal counsel letter. Early legal consultancy helped workers to protect their rights, help to improve the credibility of trade union organizations.
