Let employees have long attachment with locality

With achievements in attracting investment and human resources, Binh Duong has long become a good land not only for investors, but also for workers. Workers from all regions of the country are now present in Binh Duong and many of them have to live and work in peace and contentment, some of them are getting richer quickly. However, there are still many workers that need to be cared for by authorities, departments, mass organizations and enterprises so that they can stick with Binh Duong for a long time.

Assessing the care for employees, leaders of ministries and central sectors said that Binh Duong is a locality well realizing regimes and policies for employees, especially taking care of their income and housing. The social housing program invested by Becamex IDC is one of programs with profound humanity, expressing provincial leaders' views on housing care for employees. Up to now, the program has created conditions for tens of thousands of workers to have a stable place to live. Along with Becamex IDC, implementing the general policy of provincial leaders, many enterprises in the province have also actively built houses for their employees. Employees are given favorable conditions for accommodation built by enterprises without paying rental, so their income is improved and they can accumulate to buy houses.

Along with taking care of employees in terms of income and housing, Binh Duong is also a locality with many significant activities for employees on Tet and great holidays. “Spring bus”, “Tet meal”... are programs to help employees connect with the locality, considering Binh Duong as a second homeland for contributions to the local development. Binh Duong's sentimental affection for employees is also shown via guidelines, policies, support packages for disadvantaged workers. Only during the recent Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to the Government’s support packages, all workers in the province were supported with food, foodstuffs and received support packages from the locality.

During the ongoing Workers' Month, tens of thousands of gifts were given for difficult workers. Unfortunate workers also received attention from provincial Support Fund for disadvantaged workers. The "zero dong” market-days opened by provincial Red Cross Associations at all levels contributed to alleviating difficulties for disadvantaged workers' households. Children whose parents died, due to the Covid-19 epidemic were also supported by authorities and socio-political organizations so that they can continue pursuing their learning. Along with that, many programs and activities to take care of employees' children have also been launched by provincial Youth Union and mass organizations this summer.

Although many achievements have been realized in the field of caring for workers, the prolonged Covid-19 situation has made the operation of some enterprises be interrupted, making workers face difficulties. Along with that, housing prices are constantly increasing while the income of employees has not been significantly improved yet, so the accumulation to buy a house is too far away for employees. It is thought that besides mobilizing enterprises to increase income for workers, the local social housing program needs to be expanded to bring the opportunities of getting stable houses to employees. This will help employees have long attachment with Binh Duong, contributing to building up a more and more prosperous locality.
