Localities further implement urgent measures against Covid-19

In the face of the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, along with strictly implementing and monitoring social distancing measures in accordance with the Prime Minister’s Directives 15 and 16, localities with Covid-19 cases in the province have suspended direct transactions in some parts, encouraged people to make transactions online and by post. Di An city, Thu Dau Mot city’s Tax Sub-Departments, where F0 and F1 cases were recorded, have announced to suspend transactions, waiting for the next test results of the F1, F2 cases... being isolated.

Temporarily suspending direct transactions at Thu Dau Mot city’s Tax Sub-Department

Regarding the contact of  F1 case at Thu Dau Mot city’s Tax Sub-Department, Truong Anh Tuan, Head of the city’s Tax Sub-Department said that right after receiving information about the F1 case working for Phuc Dat Production and Trading Company in Di An city with close contact with a team leader when transacting at the city’s Tax Sub-Department on the morning of June 6, the city’s Medical Center disinfected the entire sub-department. The center also announced and required F2 cases, being the sub-departments ‘cadres to implement medical isolation at home.

Mr. Tuan added that on the afternoon of the same day, the city’s Tax Sub-Department decided to suspend transactions at its headquarters from 7:00 am on June 7 in order to wait for the Covid-19 testing results of related F1 and F2 cases, aiming to ensure safety for Covid-19 prevention and control.  Today (June 7), from 7 a.m., Thu Dau Mot city will temporarily suspend activities of receiving dossiers and returning results directly at its one-stop department; suspend direct transactions to handle administrative procedures at the local one-stop shops while switching to receiving administrative procedures online via provincial public service website at https:// dichvucong.binhduong.gov. vn and postal services.

Tran Sy Nam, Vice-Chairman of Thu Dau Mot city’s People's Committee, Deputy Head of the city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that regarding a number of locations that had close contact with F1 cases over the past tome, the city has directed the local Health Center to urgently coordinate with provincial Center for Disease Prevention and Control to make epidemiological investigation and contact tracing in order to identify other related cases.

“The city has allowed its Tax sub- Department to suspend transactions with people while implementing temporary medical isolation and blockade for headquarters, agencies and units when the results of contact tracing at the request of the health sector to well ensure Covid-19 prevention and control”, said Mr. Nam.

Strictly controlling gateways to Di An’s administrative center

On the afternoon of June 6, Di An city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held a meeting to extend urgent measures against Covid-19 pandemic. Pham Van Bay, Vice-Chairman of the city’s People's Committee, Deputy Head of the city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that after nearly 10 days of implementing medical isolation in Dong Hoa ward, the city has considered to easy a part of isolation measures in areas where the situation of Covid-19 cases is well controlled.

So far, Di An city has not recorded any fresh infection cases related to F1, F2 cases in the isolation area of Dong Hoa ward. Therefore, the city decided to ease measures on medical isolation and blockade under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16  and switched to implementing social distancing under the Prime Minister’s Directive 15, contributing to stabilizing the lives of people in the medical isolation and blockage area. Accordingly, the city eased social distance rules at Tan Hoa quarter’s groups 13 and 14; Bcons residential area in Tan Lap quarter and a part of Tay A quarter in Dong Hoa ward.

Based on the developments of the local pandemic and under the instructions of provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on strictly implementing social distancing measures under the Prime Minister’s Directives 15 and 16, Di An City has raised the local Covid-19 prevention and control to the highest level. The city has established 7 checkpoints at the gateways to its administrative center.

Di An city’s Health Center said that as of June 6 afternoon, related to the local F0 cases, the whole city had 182 cases of F1, 590 cases of F2 and 297 cases of F3, F4. The city is implementing concentrated medical isolation for 191 cases. There are also 581 cases under medical isolation at home and 297 cases under health monitoring at home. Up to now, through epidemiological investigation and contact tracing, there are 45 cases related to the 7554  patient and 47 cases related to the infection case at Phuc Dat Trading and Production Company. The city has coordinated with provincial Center for Disease Prevention and Control to take samples of 46 F1 cases and 111 pooled samples of F2 and F3 cases for testing.
