Localities offer masks to people for Covid-19 prevention

Early March 26, the Women’s Union of An Lap commune in Dau Tieng district offered free cloth face masks to the local people.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen, Chairwoman of An Lap communal Women’s Union said that amid the complicated development of Covid-19 prevention, the local Women’s Union made 1,000 cloth face masks and offered them to the local people in a bid to prevent Covid-19 pandemic. They were also delivered propaganda leaflets on Covid-19 prevention.

It is known that some other communes in the district are planning to make cloth face masks and offer them to the local people for Covid-19 prevention.

*The same day, the Steering Board for Covid-19 Control and Prevention of Tan Long commune in Phu Giao district offered 2,000 masks worth VND16million, funded by donors, to the local people.

The Steering Board also delivered propaganda leaflets on Covid-19 prevention to the local people and guided them how to prevent the pandemic.
