Teams from Korea contest also had many practical topics, particularly the smart parking control system employing CCTV system and cloud computing.

At the contest, Lee Yeon Jae’s team from Korea chose "Smart City with AR Code" for presentation. The team proposed an infrastructure that would smartly change the entire community of Binh Duong Province, not just one area. The goal of this project was to change the overall social infrastructure.

Lee said: "When we studied Binh Duong province, we first noticed the increasing number of foreign workers and of Vietnamese people moving from other regions to Binh Duong. Binh Duong is a province with international industrialization, aiming to become a smart city. In order to do this, information sources must be digitized, heighten applicability to be able to link different infrastructures together. However, the problem is how to get access to these types of information and database. Therefore, we studied how to make it accessible to local and foreign people easily quickly and how to share information effectively".

According to Lee Yeon Jae, his team hoped to exchange, share and access database that could be provided by Binh Duong Province government in an easy, fast and effective way. It is made up of AR Code, through AR to share all information about public transportation, real estate. In addition, indigenous people and foreigners living in Binh Duong could easily access information sources through AR technology. This would be a factor that attracts foreign businesses and people from other areas. This will become a stepping-stone shaping a smarter, more urbanized city.

Team of Le Thi Kim Cuong from Thu Dau Mot University with "Green solution in high-rise urban areas linked to sustainable supply chain agriculture" aimed to build green agricultural space attached to urbanization; create a real-time agricultural space for experiential learning of students and children aged 5 to 6 who access agriculture right at their schools; provide clean and safe fresh food for Binh Duong residents; Technology transfer low cost to farmers in Binh Duong...
