Market stabilization for essential goods

According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province's total retail sales of goods and services in May 2022 was estimated at more than VND 22.8 trillion, up 2.9% and 17.5% against the previous month and the same period last year, respectively. The figure over the past 5 months was more than VND110.9 trillion, up 11.5% over the same period last year.

In order to stabilize the market of essential products, the local sector of industry and trade has actively monitored the stockpiling of essential goods of enterprises participating in the local market stabilization program and plans to reserve goods for natural disaster prevention and control in 2022. The Department has also advised provincial People's Committee on issuing a plan to stabilize the market for textbooks, textbooks and school supplies for the 2022-2023 school year.
