Meeting held to celebrate 81st year of CPV establishment

Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, on January 25, has co-organized a meeting to mark the 81st anniversary of Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) establishment. Attending the meeting were leaders of the committees and representatives from Army Zone No. 7, Army Corps. No. 4, heroic mothers, veterans, and all-time former leaders.

 

At the meeting, Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung reviewed heroic legacy of CPV. Through ups and downs, lucid and talented leadership of the CPV and President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese people have made consecutive victory to retrieve freedom and independence and promote duly reforms. Binh Duong people are also proud of the legacy. Patriotic movements emerged from all localities which had made up famous historic sites.

On the 81st anniversary of CPV, 7 individuals were awarded with 50-year Party member titles and 6 individuals with 40-year Party member titles.

 

To promote such legacy, in the era of independence and unity, Binh Duong province has been transformed from a purely agriculture-based economy to an focal industrial province in the South with growth rate at 14-15% a year.

 

The Chairman also called for responsibilities of leaders and officials to take care of the people, especially of the previleged, the poor, and immigrant workers.

 

At the meeting, veteran evolutionists reviewed the two resistance wars against invasions. Meanwhile, young representatives were committed to lead movements for the sake of province’s build-up.

 

Previously at provincial martyr monument before the meeting started, the leaders have offered flowers and incense to commemorate martyrs.
