Memorable week for young workers

There has been no official report about the results during the 5th provincial Week for Workers, but this event has actually become a great festival for young workers working and living in the province.

In response to the 5th provincial Week for Workers, the Youth Union of Vinh Phu ward in Thuan An town organized a singing competition for young workers. More than 300 young workers participated in the competition with many joyful and creative items.

Huynh Kim Phung, Secretary of Vinh Phu ward’s Youth Union said that the local Youth Union’s activities during the 5th provincial Week for Young Workers have contributed to creating solidarity among young workers. From this success, the local Youth Union will further organize more significant activities for young workers… 

Outstanding workers honored during the 5th provincial Week for Young Workers       

The Youth Union of Phu Loi ward in TDM town also got animated with many substantial activities during the 5th provincial Week for Young Workers. Truong Thanh Dung, Secretary of Phu Loi ward’s Youth Union said that the local Youth Union well completed the set targets during the week, especially those on humanitarian blood donation, education and dissemination of laws…

This is the first year Phu Giao district has organized the week for young workers. According to Do Xuan Toan, vice-chairman of the district’s Youth Federation, the district’s week for young workers also took place with such significant activities as culinary and singing contests, education and dissemination of laws…

Towards grassroots organizations

The 5th provincial Week for Young Workers saw improvement in quality. Dinh Quoc Phu, Vice-Secretary of Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union said that all activities of the local Youth Union during the week were implemented towards grassroots organizations.

Thuan An town’s Steering Board for the 5th Week for Young Workers also mobilized the local proprietors to pledge not to increase lodging-hiring fees, power and water prices for young workers while engaging activities in environmental protection among them.

Apartedly, 60 businesses were invited to take part in the job transaction floor, luring 1,000 turns of young workers. The steering board also mobilized 20 gifts worth VND10mln for needy young workers; organized lucky draw programs with attractive prizes valued at VND2.5mln…

“This is a meaningful event to uphold all resources from the society to take care of young workers”, said Thuan An town’s Youth Union Secretary Luong Minh Tan.

Many entertainment activities for young workers have continued being widely multiplied. On the occasion of International Children’s Day, Vinh Phu ward’s Youth Union has also implemented many activities taking care of the offspring of young workers.
