Implementing the Instruction 13/CT-TU on planting green trees at residential and public areas, Thu Dau Mot town People’s Committee has from now till 2015 launched plans to develop green trees across routes, parks and created urban green areas by planting flowers and ornamental trees. Till 2015, the entire town will plant about 6,200 green trees, additional 180 valued trees and supplement 15,000 other trees with the total area of about 5,000sqm. 

Nguyen Thanh Tai, chairman of Thu Dau Mot town People’s Committee, said green tree planting is to create a positive change to be an annual movement to turn Thu Dau Mot town into a modern and environmentally friendly urban area.

Meanwhile, in the coming time, Dinh Hoa ward will spur green tree planting across residential and public areas.

It is believed that Thu Dau Mot town will have many changes to match with a modern and environmentally friendly urban area.
